Greetings all! Pull up a chair and pull up an appetite and feast your eyes upon this culinary countessa! Miss Karla hails from the proud state of Iowa and she's tonight's stunning Toil Girl in the spotlight!

 

Upon initial communication with Ashlee I was thrilled to read that she had an ample amount of interests which always makes my job easier as it allows me to cherry pick the things in her life that will make for a great portrait design.

"As far as a theme.. I love to cook. So maybe something with an apron in the kitchen? But I also really like sports, football in particular (Go Iowa Hawkeyes!!) and my husband loves hockey and skateboarding. Is it possible to represent BOTH of those interests?".

Well, clearly Ashlee's fondness for cooking is evident but I guess I was a lot more subtle incorporating her joy for sports, but I think if you have a keen hawk eye you'll catch how I worked it in.
